Opportunities

Graduate students

We have opportunities available for first-year students to rotate in our lab through the BBSP program. Students apply directly to this program and are selected by the BBSP admissions committee, complete rotations in their first year, and join a thesis lab in the spring. Interested first-year students should contact Jake directly to discuss rotation opportunities. Potential future BBSP students are welcome to mention interest in the Choby lab during the application and/or interview process. 

Postdoctoral scholars 

We welcome inquiries from motivated prospective postdoctoral scholars who are enthusiastic about our research and whose interests align with the work of the lab. To be considered, please email Jake with a brief description of your research background, interests, and career goals, along with your CV and a representative first-author publication or preprint.
